Theatre Knoxville, affectionately known as TKD, proudly holds the title of Knoxville’s oldest continuously operating, non-academic, all-volunteer, non-profit community theater.

Located on the campus of the University of Tennessee for nearly 50 years, the Clarence Brown Theatre is a pillar of the East Tennessee arts community and Knoxville’s own professional theatre. Each season, roughly 35,000 patrons within a 50-miles radius of Knoxville attend the theatre to enjoy our productions.
